HIGH SPEED STEERING WOBBLES. x8420

With reference to DAS/M23.9.25! We have tried a car fitted with the torque control on the front axle and vertical pivots. We could not make the steering take charge however fiercely we applied the brakes. In this condition we found that there was quite an appreciable amount of self-centering. The car used for these tests was a Silver Ghost as this is the car upon which the torque control axle was originally fitted.
