X4276 Attached hereto is a copy of memorandum from Mr. Olley on the above subject. Relative to item No.3 in which Mr. Olley refers to electrical apparatus, we would point out that we have had in the last eight weeks fourteen cases of trouble with electrical apparatus on postwar chassis. Owing to the fact the average driver here or at outside repair shops at distant points are not familiar with our electrical apparatus, in some instances we have had to send men from our long Island Service Station some five hundred miles to make adjustments. Now that we have more of our cars on the road, this is becoming a very serious expense, and judging from the experiences to date, this expense will increase.
