DONALD SESSIONS & COMPANY LTD. 906, HARROW ROAD, WILLESDEN, LONDON, N.W.10 TELEPHONE WILLESDEN 1270 TELEGRAMS "TOGGLE, HARLES" CABLEGRAMS "TOGGLE, LONDON" BY/Mtn15/N. 15th March, 1934. Messrs. Rolls-Royce Ltd., D E R B Y. For the attention of J.C. Bowering, Esq. File Dear Sirs, We thank you for your letter of the 13th inst. in connection with the two-speed handle which will be supplied with the 40/50 Jacks in the near future. With regard to the 2nd paragraph of your letter re modifications to the two-speed handle, this we think must be a misunderstanding as no modifications are being made to the handle you have already had under test, with the exception of the gear-box housing being a superior casting and considerably neater. This modification we believe was brought to your notice when testing the first handle, otherwise the handle is precisely the same. We are sorry there has been a delay in the despatch of these handles, but these have required considerable special tooling-up, this being largely responsible for the delay. However, we are making every effort to commence delivery of the two-speed handles on commencement of delivery of your new order for 40/50 h.p. Jacks, which will be due in approximately a week's time. We are forwarding to you one of the production two-speed handles for your examination in the course of a post or so. Assuring you of our best attention. Yours faithfully, For DONALD SESSIONS & COMPANY LIMITED. Donaldw Sessman Director. DWS/IKS | ||
