START OF PRODUCTION - GOSHAWK II ORIGINAL. E.{Mr Elliott - Chief Engineer} from Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}2/LG30.12.21. GOSHAWK 11. X4219 X4220 The works are now starting production on Goshawk 11. chassis so, therefore, we are very anxious indeed to clear up some of the remaining points - The most important points we require from you are - the completion of the top and bottom halves. For the top half we are awaiting the new mounting for the generator, for the oil filler and for the breather which it is suggested to connect up to the carburetter inlet. It was agreed some time ago that the oil drain from the crankcase should be made very convenient. We should like to know whether it is intended to do anything with this or whether it can be considered that the bottom half, as it now stands, is final as far as we know. The addition of the magneto control may demand extra feature on the top half of the crankcase so it will, therefore, be a good job to get this point settled. Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} | ||
