C O P Y. St.{Capt. P. R. Strong} c. to H.{Arthur M. Hanbury - Head Complaints} EP{G. Eric Platford - Chief Quality Engineer}/Thn6/H6.4.23. re. EXHAUST MANIFOLDS. With reference to your memo St2/TB/21.3.23, the copper asbestos washer which was introduced some considerable time ago, certainly pre-war, was brought in to avoid exhaust blows. There is really no objection to your removing this providing a satisfactory job can be obtained without it. In the meantime, we are asking the Experimental Department to give this matter consideration. EP{G. Eric Platford - Chief Quality Engineer}/Thn. | ||
