Our Ref. Tech.Dept. FOH/LB. Your Ref. -. Grylls Esq., Messrs. Rolls-Royce, Limited, D E R B Y. 5th January, 1935. My dear Grylls, With reference to our recent telephone conversation, I enclose print of the drawings referring to Patent No. 209737 dealing with the interposition of balls in worm gearing. Apparently the Complete for this was not accepted, and the Belgian convention date was January 10th, 1923, the British Application date being January 7th, 1924, the Patentee being Achille Pays. I think a little consideration of the drawings will make clear the whole position, although I will keep the original Specification by me for when you come over in the near future, when we will have a talk about this. I am also enclosing a copy of the introduction to the Voisin Instruction Book of which I spoke some little time ago, which will no doubt be of great interest. Wishing you all the best for the New Year, I remain, Yours sincerely, F.{Mr Friese} O.{Mr Oldham} Hickling Enclos: Ctd....... | ||
