To BY/JH. from EH. X.302. X.53 EH1/LG24.5.19. 24th. May 1919. With reference to the special float for the use with all Benzol, the float should be 11 drams heavier than the present standard float. The present standard float is 3 ozs. 4 drams, the benzol float should be 3 ozs. 15 drams. Before the war the D.O. made a drawing for this special float for benzol, no doubt you can find the record of this. It should be clearly pointed out that this float is only to be used when 100% benzol is used. There is no need to alter the weight of the float for anything up to 50% mixture - benzol/petrol. EH. | ||
