Contd. -2- 2320. (2) If the condenser stands Test 1 it shall be tested for capacity by being placed in series with an A.C. milliammeter reading up to 30 milliamperes across an alternating voltage of 210 at a frequency of 41.5, when the milli-amperes of capacity current taken by the condenser shall lie between the limits 10.5 and 13.0. (3) If satisfactory as regards (1) and (2) the condenser shall now be finally fitted up in its case. (4) The first part of Test 1 should now be exactly repeated except that the 450 volts should be maintained for five minutes only. The capability of holding a static charge should again be verified in a similar manner. Ck.{Mr Clark} | ||
