To: "Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}". No 2. to be quite frank with you, is at the present moment, doing considerable harm to Hispano-Suiza, to such an extent that their sales have been seriously affected. I know, and fully realise all the difficulties you have to contend with, in order to eliminate this movement, but believe me Continental owners do not like it. I am very sorry to bother you about this matter, but I am personally rather worried about it, as I fear that if it gets round, it may affect our sales also. "" So far, we have sold this year, 34 R.R., and Bentley chassis or cars, and we have still several prospects in view. Trusting that business is also good on your side, I remain, with kind regards, Yours sincerely, T.S [Handwritten in blue ink at the bottom left] When are you coming out our way !? S. | ||
