RE "GOSHAWK II" CONTROL MECHANISM.

We send you herewith drawings Lec.1451 and Lec.1452 shewing the general arrangement of the control mechanism.
These schemes drawn by Mr. Carolin are nearly completed, and were in this state when Carolin was instructed to return to Derby.
It is very difficult for us to work on another man's drawings, and as the scheme is complete except for alterations to the countershaft carried on the dash, I am sending them to you in their original condition.
We shall in due course let you have a scheme of the mixture and choke valve controls from the instrument board, and this scheme will also shew the dashboard countershaft in its final form and position. In the meantime all else on the control gear should be proceeded with.

E.{Mr Elliott - Chief Engineer}
