WINTERFRONT TRADE MARK The “WINTERFRONT” is a simple and extremely effective device and represents to the automobile in cold weather what an overcoat represents to you. Gives driving comfort by keeping air under hood warm, preventing cold from entering driving compartment. The “WINTERFRONT” has a beautiful baked enamel finish, and improves appearance of any car. Easy to keep clean. The “WINTERFRONT” completely covers and protects the Radiator while it is cold, but automatically opens after the radiator temperature has passed 130°F.{Mr Friese} Shuts out the cold and holds the warmth -- Gives summer running conditions under hood at all times. Increases mileage on gasoline by allowing you to run motor on summer adjustment of carburetor. A pair of powerful Thermo-Wafer cells provide the entirely automatic operation—the shutters opening automatically as the heat of the radiator rises above 130°F, and closing again automatically when it falls below that temperature. The shutters may be closed by hand immediately on stopping your motor, but will be automatically released when the car is again started. Keeps your radiator and cooling system at proper temperature for most efficient operation of motor. Does not allow water to get hot enough to evaporate anti-freeze. Improves lubrication of engine by keeping oil at proper temperature and prevents unburned fuel from getting into crank-case. The motor kept warm by the “WINTERFRONT” is easily started, eliminating strain on the battery. The “WINTERFRONT” can be had for practically all makes of automobiles having a flat front radiator. Can be attached by anyone in less than five minutes. | ||
