BODIES FOR EXPERIMENTAL CARS. X5830 x7830

Now we are almost clear of aero engine work, we are concentrating on chassis and we hope in a few weeks to be well ahead.

We should like to know the position of bodies. We require 2 more 20 HP. bodies i.e., we hope to have two more new 20 HP. chassis completed before the end of the year, the first one should be ready in 4 weeks.

As regards bodies for the 'SS{S. Smith}'. As far as we understand there are only two bodies on order at present. We recommend that the third one is put in hand immediately and there would be no serious loss if the fourth and fifth bodies were ordered.

If a serious effort is made to standardise the 'SS{S. Smith}', we shall required :-

One car for WN. for R.{Sir Henry Royce}
One car for 10,000 miles test.
One car for Sales criticism.
Two cars for development work.

The bodies are always bound to be dmistock, and we think it would be a great advantage to 'SS{S. Smith}' if on the experimental cars we covered the complete range of bodies.

We expect to be at WN. next week so that if you need any support to get these bodies on order, we will do our best to help you.
