Dear Mr.Rowbotham, Further to the interim acknowledgement of your letter of the 15th instant, the information concerning the Valve Springs breaking and details of the research we have carried out here have now been prepared by our Technical Staff, and I am pleased to say that we have now got out of the difficulty which we were experiencing. I shall be very interested indeed to hear from you after you have read through the report, how our practice compares with yours, both in regard to design and material. Might I ask you if you would be good enough to let us have information parallel to that given in our report on your various designs. This would be greatly appreciated.
