1. I enclose herewith copy of a letter received from the Fansteel Products Company of Chicago, with reference to their tungsten metal "Crecium". You will notice that the metal is used for the low tension contacts on the Bosch, Eisemann, and Splitdorf magnetos.

2. It is not claimed to be a tungsten alloy but is simply a high grade tungsten metal.

3. This agrees with the practice of the Delco Company.

4. Do you think that it would be well to conduct experiments with this metal in low tension magnetos, or battery ignition, with a view to using it ourselves on the battery cantact breaker and possibly prevailing upon the makers to use it in Watford Magnetos?

5. We will send you samples of .160" and .100" diameter wire in this metal as soon as we receive them.

Cy.
