To reduce steering shocks. Experimental Test Report. 1500 lbs. side steering tube springs were run with the lightened axle in France 10,000 miles. It is therefore proposed to standardise these springs with this axle. Road Test Report. These springs effect a very pronounced reduction in road shocks and yet give a selective steering with the new axle.
