X.7780 X.2515. X.7740 Referring to your memos. EFC2/A/6/T21123, the two strands of fuse wire you mention are intended to consist of two twisted strands of 30 SWG. wire such as we use as standard. They are shown on the drawing in question only for the major fuse on the main distribution board. No departure is intended from our present practice with regard to the other fuses, and all have a single strands of 30 SWG. except the special light fuse for the dynamo field. We also propose to use a single strand of this same wire on each of the accessory board fuses. This appears to meet the case even if a cigar lighter is wired into the circuit, since we understand from you that the small fuses blow at 30 amps., and the cigar lighter current does not exceed approximately 15 amperes. Should, however, the single strand prove unsatisfactory in such a case we can see no reason why two strands should not be used. Regarding the question of running wires of sufficiently heavy section to the accessories, we should say this certainly ought to be done.
