| V224 W/P - Sr. Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Std.20/KW.29.4.36. We note that in the last batch of Bentley Quarterly complaints (for quarter ending Mar. 31st), mention is made of two fan bracket failures and one fan hub failure. We should be glad if you could give us any information as to the cause of these failures and send us the remains of the parts in question, if possible. We presume that these fans were some of the batch of unbalanced ones which got through some time ago - in any case we would point out that all Bentley fans on cars built prior to the attached memos. should be rebalanced when the cars come in for other work, as stated in the memos. Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Std.5/KW.4.6.35 and Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}17/KW.6.6.35 and covered by Depot Sheet Hd.{Mr Hayward/Mr Huddy}285. We should be interested to hear whether the two chassis on which the two fan bracket failures have occurred are included in the attached list of chassis numbers.
