We have abandoned the idea of using a Wraith II type of frame on Bentley III because the vertical welding flanges lose us 1½" in the height of the floor. We are using two 'U' shaped channels inserted into each other. This enables us to slightly simplify the main forging of the independent suspension shown on N.Sch.4927 by placing the bosses for the studs holding the locking plates for the needle roller bearing housing vertically below the shaft instead of above as drawn. We would be very glad if you would modify a forging accordingly as we have mentioned this matter verbally to 'G' Dept. Le. Ev.{Ivan Evernden - coachwork} Can we make action set? | ||
