(d) Two 6.00/19 '1929' pattern (5 ribs, unbroken) Leave notches at tread edge Knife cut right across. } to Derby (e) Two 6.00/19 '1929' pattern (5 ribs, unbroken) No notches, but knife cuts right across. } (f) Two worn 6.00/19 'L' type removed from demonstration car after 1800 miles, to have shoulder notches filled in with repair compound to see if they can be made silent again.
