It will be remembered that it was decided to standardise the cylinder head on which the rocker centres had not been altered. Originally this was some 9 H.P. down on EX.2050. We have regained this lost H.P. by trepanning and fitting a larger exhaust valve. The final result, therefore, of this high compression cylinder head and the Aerolite pistons is to give an increase of about 20 HP. at 4,500 revs. over the standard Bentley engine as it is being sold to-day.
