To E.{Mr Elliott - Chief Engineer} from Sg.{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD} Sg{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD}7/E/1.1.34 - 2 - Of course there are a lot of things on the Terraplane that one could criticise but I did not bother about that because after all it is a motorcar which sells for less than £400, and obviously from our point of view it would be worse still if it were all as good as the engine. It did, however, strike me that the brakes were very good and I think you ought to look into them, if you have not already done so, because, when one bears in mind that they have no servo, they certainly seem very good. The main fascination of the car is of course the silence and lack of vibration in the engine at all speeds. I arranged for LHS{Lord Herbert Scott}, C. and Cx.{Major Len W. Cox - Advertising Manager} to try this car and it has been an eye-opener to all of them from the point of view I have stressed. Sg.{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD} | ||
