Dear Robotham, Bendix Pump

Many thanks for yours of the 16th with the information that you have finished your pump tests. This letter only came to hand this morning and, in the circumstances, I am compelled to defer my visit until Tuesday morning next in accordance with my telegram:-

"REGRET LETTER ONLY JUST RECEIVED VISIT YOU WITH MOSS TUESDAY MORNING WILL YOU LUNCH WITH US AT STATION."

I shall be staying the night in Birmingham on Monday and propose coming along by road with Mr.Moss, our Chief Engineer, if you will kindly let me know whether you wish us to visit you at Derby or Belper. I am anxious that you should make personal contact with Mr.Moss for various reasons but
