To RHC. {R. H. Coverley - Production Engineer} from Hs {Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} /Rm. {William Robotham - Chief Engineer} 48360 X719 Hs {Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} /Rm {William Robotham - Chief Engineer} 3/LG28.4.27. Herewith a sketch of a ~~the~~ silent brake stop for the 40/50 HP. foot brake levers on the rear axle. In addition to the stop shewn we should like to try one with a strip of Ferodo only i.e. ~~for the~~ omitting flexibility behind it which we shew in the sketch. We should be obliged if you could fit the rear brake levers on ~~six~~ 12-EX with one of these schemes each. Attached is a piece of Ferodo which we think would be suitable for the job.
