| X4264 Mr. Hives from TMW. 8.12.22. GOSHAWK 11. STEERING BRACKET AND STAY TUBE ON BUMP TEST - Scheme No. The steering bracket originally fitted failed after 22 1/4 hrs. running owing probably to bad brazing and the breaking of stay tube twice. The 2nd. bracket fitted has now completed 45 hrs. one tube breaking. The stay tubes failed 3 times at - viz. 11 3/4" hrs., 8 1/2 hrs. and 5 1/2 hrs. The present tube with loose ends and retainign bolts has run 43 hrs. TMW. | ||
