28th. April 1938.

Messrs. J.Lucas Ltd.,
Great King Street,
BIRMINGHAM, 19.

For the attention of Dr.Watson.

Dear Sirs,

We understand from Mr.Grose of Messrs. S.Smith & Sons Ltd. that you are interested in the manufacture and supply of car heater motors, and he has recommended us to get in touch with Dr.Watson. As we are anxious to obtain a suitable motor for a car heater we would welcome any information you could give us as to performances, size and prices of motors and suitable rheostatic switches which you may market.

We have already tested one Lucas motor which was loaned to us by your Mr.Robertson, and have written him on the subject, but up to date have had no reply.

Trusting to hear from you shortly on this subject.

Yours faithfully,

for ROLLS-ROYCE LTD.
