Dear Sirs,

re TYPE B.D. NAVAL GUNS.

Attached to this letter are some notes which I have made on our conversation on the telephone this afternoon, concerning the mounting for the type BL. gun.

I am sorry Mr. Robotham was not available when you telephoned yesterday and also that I should be unable to get through to Bath until today.

Immediately on Mr. Robotham's return tomorrow he will receive these notes.

I am enclosing a print of wrl.136 which shows the armour shields which will be fitted to the first 3 type BL. guns on the non-elevating mounting.

Yours faithfully,

H.I.F. Evernden,
Chief of Design,
Gun Installation Dept.,
For ROLLS-ROYCE LTD.
