Dear Sirs,

Further to the visit of our Mr.Lockton to your Works on the 10th instant, we beg to confirm the outstanding points which were discussed with you.

New Battery type 6-XHR11-1L. We are arranging to despatch to you as quickly as possible a sample battery of the above type, assembled in a Dagenite container, which will be exactly interchangeable with the sample battery type 6-BGD11-1SC which has been submitted to you by your other suppliers.

In the event of your deciding in due course to take bulk supplies of these 6-XHR11-1L batteries, we shall be glad to have your definite decision as to whether Dagenite or Ebonite containers are preferred.

Metal Inserts in Battery Covers. We beg to point out that it has not in the past been our practice to provide metal inserts in battery covers of ebonite material. We can, if desired, provide these in future batteries, but we would be interested to hear whether you know of any specific instances where breakages have been traced to such inserts not being fitted on battery covers previously supplied to you.

Proposed new design of Vent Plug. We are designing a new type of vent plug generally similar to the sample
