GOSHAWK 11. SHOCK ABSORBERS. X4329

We send you herewith N.sch. 1284 shewing the revised connecting rod for the front shock absorber, in accordance with Mr. Royce's wishes.

The rear one is of course the same as this except for the length.

It will be noticed that the pads are keyed into the slots instead of being prevented from turning by pins. There have also been slight increases in the wearing surfaces and the tubes are made thinner. The square on the adjusting nut has been increased in depth slightly.

In order to facilitate the removal of the spring clips on the front axle Mr. Royce wishes the whole of the front shock absorber to be pushed outwards by an amount which will be shewn on a subsequent drawing.
