To For. From Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} C. to H.{Arthur M. Hanbury - Head Complaints} C. to Hy.{Tom Haldenby - Plant Engineer} C. to Srt. FILED No.3/MJ.3.12.33. Re. 3 1/2 Litre Bentley. Replying to Nor.4/T2.11.33. We have a 3 1/2 Litre Bentley car which has completed 8,000 miles with all the improved chassis parts but on which the piston failed. In order to release all the chassis modifications for standardization we propose completing the 10,000 miles as soon as possible. This then should enable us to clear the 3 1/2 Litre Bentley except for engine modifications. Apart from the 10,000 miles which we shall shortly complete, three of the Demonstration cars have now completed approx 5,000 miles each. Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} | ||
