20 HP. EXHAUST PIPE. X.4238.

The present pipe on 5-Goshawk-11 does not seem to require any alteration. In its present simple form it seems quite satisfactory. This has no damper, and has a simple flange joint to silencer. The only thing I can see is that the final exhaust might be a little more silent, but this specimen has a cutout, and one diaphragm less. I believe perhaps no alteration is needed until we re-arrange the exhaust for more power.
