Swindell}13/AP.9.4.37 EXPERIMENTAL YARD AND TEST HOUSES With the present arrangement of the open fronted wash shed in the Experimental Yard, aluminium machinings, paraffin and oil gets all over the yard in the vicinity of the Wash Shed when parts are being washed. This would in a large measure be overcome if a single brick wall be built in front of the shed as per the attached sketch to which HPS.{Horace Percy Smith - Experimental Factory Mgr} is in agreement. Will you please look into the possibility of this being carried out if sanctioned, as soon as possible. At the same time the air blow pipe be moved to inside the shed from the present position on the external wall. No.5. Test House - Can you please give any promise as to when No.5. Test House is to be overhauled in accordance with our memo Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/Swdl.{Len H. Swindell}6/M.3.2.37.
