Contd. -2- EFC4/11.10.20. Regarding the wire for the switchbox it will be seen that the first sample No.30 is lower in fusing current than our specification and therefore is not suitable. On the other hand, the second sample which is made of the harder material has a fusing current of about 5.3 amperes and therefore falls within the limits we have given 4.5 to 5.5 amperes. This particular sample is therefore suitable for the purpose. We return to Wd{Mr Wood/Mr Whitehead}/Ms. the letters from the London Electric Wire Co. It will be understood that a quantity of the second sample No.30 should now be ordered for the switchbox; further that a quantity of No.19 S.W.G. will, in all probability be correct for the junction box, provided the material is the same as that of the second lot of samples.
