J.3. CHASSIS

The number of the first chassis will be J.3.1.

As we have permission to go ahead with the second body we think that this should be proceeded with at once. It is very probable that when R.{Sir Henry Royce} returns from France he may wish to have one of these cars at West WitteringHenry Royce's home town. We should say that the second body for J.3. and Peregrine should go along in parallel.

We still expect to be ready for the Peregrine body by Whitsun.
