re .5 Bore Machine Gun Type A.A. in Spitfire.

We have received from Ve/NP. the attached print of QS.232 which shows their method of attaching the swin neck of the ammunition box to the cheeks of the .5 bore gun which you are installing in a Spitfire.

This should enable you to complete the design of the ammunition box and its attachments. A chute and cowl should be provided for the clips which are thrown into space and wasted. A similar chute and cowl should be provided for the spent cases which are also wasted.
