Phantom III We send herewith Sch.4743 which shows what we propose to overcome the foul referred to in RHC.{R. H. Coverley - Production Engineer}4/ETM.20.1.36. We have moved the front end of the rod between the servo and the front brake intermediate lever in towards the centre of the car by .100" by facing back the boss on the balance lever and we have machined .150 off the flange of the bracket on which the foul at present occurs. When the box with the more flexible front suspension comes into use there will be no need to machine the bracket but the balance lever alteration should be retained. This scheme also shows a castellated nut for the front suspension as asked for on the same memo. E/HDY.{William Hardy} | ||
