re SpectreCodename for Phantom III Cars for Olympia.

We are sending you herewith three prints of bodies for SpectreCodename for Phantom III covering the range of possible types.

Lec.4331 Enclosed Limousine "E" Steering.
Lec.4351 Continental Touring Saloon "F" Steering.
Lec.4652 Continental Touring Limousine "F" Steering.

These drawings shew enough to enable a coachbuilder to set out a 1/16 scale drawing of what he proposes to exhibit. We thought that if we sent you six sets of these to send out to the coachbuilders who are to exhibit it would enable them to send you their proposals, so that we shall know what steering to fit to each of the 8 chassis, also what bonnet, and how many spare wheels.

When writing to the coachbuilders we suggest that it will be necessary to tell them that we are supplying front wings, the apron and the rear wheel arches, full size drawings of which will follow, so that they know that the shapes cannot be modified materially.

Likewise we suggest that it will not be possible at this juncture to allow special tank fillers.

The chassis will have bumper fixings available to hold front and rear bumpers in the position drawn, and we have produced a design for the front and rear bumpers.

Due to the box section frame it will be very difficult for the coachbuilder to make his own bumper fixings and to fit them.

We believe we have been able to alight on a design which will suit practically all bodies.

If you agree with this proposal we will send the necessary prints by return.

E/EV.{Ivan Evernden - coachwork}
