For the attention of Mr.L.A.Danse,
Metallurgist.

Dear Sir,

We are very much indebted to you for your letter of November 10th. and the information contained therein relative to GMC.14, the General Motors' whitemetal bearing alloy. We are arranging to run some of this forthwith.

We should be very interested to hear whether the 14.B. which you mention shews any improvement, as soon as such information may be available.

For your information, the only whitemetal we have so far found which shews any possibility of being better than our standard production whitemetal is supplied by The Hoyt Company and is known as Z.3. We enclose herewith a list shewing its composition and also the composition of our standard whitemetal.

Yours faithfully,

FOR ROLLS-ROYCE LTD.
