To Wor.{Arthur Wormald - General Works Manager} From Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} 8788. Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} 9/KT. 23. 6. 31. When we met Sg.{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD} on Brooklands last week he suggested that someone at Derby should become a member of the Brooklands Automobile Racing Club. The idea is that this would be courteous in view of the use we make of their premises for meals and discussions etc. These premises are really reserved for members and their friends only. It was thought that I should become a member on behalf of the firm at the annual subscription of £6.6.0. without entrance fee. Will you say if you agree please?
