Attention of C.Falconer,Esq.,

Dear Sir,

Re: Short Wheelbase Bentley - 2.B.5.

We confirm the decisions arrived at during the visit of Hn.{F. C. Honeyman - Retail orders} and the writer to your Works yesterday.

(1) The shape of the boot and rear quarter to be that approved on the full size drawing. The boot to give the luggage space therein drawn together, with the agreed height of opening shewn. The lid{A. J. Lidsey} to be flat only for approximately 75% of its length from the hinge, and to have a small improved water seal in order to leave the opening as large as possible.
Lid{A. J. Lidsey} to open down to an angle to give the legal visibility to the rear number plate and to be held by quadrants. No dust door.
The boot floor to be lowered both back and front as the result of the removal of the tank fittings. The rear squab board to be moved forward 1.000".

(2) As it was decided not to raise the roof we do not desire to fit the thin front pillars.

(3) We confirm you will supply drawings of the doors to the vicinity of the locks to enable Messrs. Wilmot Breedon to produce the necessary Rover type locks at the same time giving a date for the latest time of receiving such locks from us. Should the locks not be obtainable in that time we will agree to the use of other locks.
