x4462 Exptl. Dept. Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Ra.15/KW. 13th July, 1934. The Earl of Rothes, The India Tyre & Rubber Co.Ltd., Mileage Dept. (Area B.), 80, Clapham Road, LONDON, S.W.9. Dear Rothes, I have to-day tried Dugdale's chassis which should be delivered on Monday next. I hope that it will make a very nice car, as it is certainly above the average in most respects. I have had a letter from the India Tyre Co., Inchinnan, with reference to fitting 6" tyres when the customer desires to run at lower inflation pressure, to compensate for expansion due to temperature effects, and I attach a copy of my reply. Yours sincerely, FOR ROLLS-ROYCE LIMITED. | ||
