HS{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} X453 To HY.{Tom Haldenby - Plant Engineer} from Sg.{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD} re Horns on Bentley Car. Copy to Wor.{Arthur Wormald - General Works Manager}Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}H. Rn.{Mr Robinson}Ex. Thanks for HY.{Tom Haldenby - Plant Engineer}4/0.18.5.34. I am interested and pleased to note that you agree that the horns as fitted on Hn{F. C. Honeyman - Retail orders}'s car were unnecessarily high. My memo. was intended to give approval to the fitting of the horns on the cross bar when the P.100 lamps are standardised, on the understanding that they were kept as low as is possible, and sufficiently far from the centre starting handle bracket to enable A.A. and R.A.C. badges to be fitted. I think this makes the matter clear. Sg.{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD} | ||
