Re. Offside rear shock damper
132 Ex. - Gill - G.D.P.26.
-----------------------------
We have fitted the above to 18.G.IV. as received from the R.{Sir Henry Royce} Dept. and found it rattled and was just audible when riding in the back of car.
We then fitted it up with a spring loaded connecting tube and found that the rattle was reduced by 50% and was not audible in the rear of the car without lifting the floor boards and getting down to it.
We have not dismantled the damper only checked the oil level which remains constant.
M.{Mr Moon / Mr Moore} Wyer.
Shock Damper returned to R.{Sir Henry Royce} Dept. stores 11.30. am.
