Dear Sirs,
For the attention of Mr. Steadman. ✓
Re: CAR HEATER RHEOSTAT.
Following the visit of Mr. Grose and the undersigned, we have pleasure in confirming our discussion with the above gentleman and Mr. Davis to the effect that we will go into the question as to whether the vitreous type we submitted can be wound to a value of 6 ohms without excessive temperature rise, when a current of 1.1 amps is flowing.
We are also preparing a quotation for the rheostat as shown on your drawing DCD.709 and will let you have our prices for quantities of 200 and 1,000 lots.
Yours faithfully,
for S. SMITH & SONS (MOTOR ACCESSORIES) LIMITED.
G.P. Russell
ELECTRICAL ENGINEER.
