DERBY.

Dear Mr. Robotham,

I am writing to acknowledge receipt of your letter of the 19th instant, and as I have already explained to you I am endeavouring to make arrangements for Mr. Worth, the Works Manager of the India Tyre and Rubber Company at Inchinnan, to personally visit your Works at Derby, and I feel sure this will be the wisest course to adopt.

Regarding the PACKARD, I very much regret it is impossible for me to place a car of this nature at your disposal on Wednesday next; at the same time I have also been in communication with the Packard Company here in London but, unfortunately, they have no suitable car available.

However, I understand we have one of the long 'Straight Eight' models (1928 series) coming into our stock in about 10 days' time and I shall be very happy to advise
