TELEPHONE NO: GLADSTONE 3333. TELEGRAPHIC ADDRESS: Speedofac, Crickle, London. 4642. CRICKLEWOOD WORKS, LONDON, N.W.2. SALES DIRECTOR'S OFFICE. 2nd August 1934. H.E.West, Esq., Messrs.Rolls'Royce Ld, DERBY. Dear Mr.West, As my Bentley dynamo was not charging when I was leaving for the Midlands on Tuesday morning, I left instructions for a new fuse to be fitted. Upon examination, however, the fuse arrangements were found to be intact and our Electrical Engineer states that the trouble was that the commutator required cleaning. I thought as a point of general interest you would like to know this as, of course, the car has only so far covered a mileage of approximately 3,000: otherwise, I am entirely satisfied, especially now that the new Jaeger instruments are fitted. You very kindly promised, by the way, to exchange my lamps. Is 'it bothering you too much? Yours very truly, Comanols | ||
