Messrs. Park Ward & Co.Ltd.,

Willesden,
LONDON.N.W.10.

For the attention of Mr.C.Ward.

Dear Sirs,

re body for Rippletto.

You will recall that it has been agreed that 2 of the production B.V. bodies which you are building shall be produced with the light gauge structure and special lightened features such as are to be found on 12.B.V. and that one of these bodies will be required for a chassis which we have called Rippletto.

The whole of the chassis aft of the dashboard will be the same as B.V. as far as the coach work is concerned, but the front wheels will be brought nearer to the dash board. The bonnet however, will be made to match up with the B.V. bonnet.

Due to the front wheels of this car being so near to the dash board, the side position for the spare wheel is not possible, and we have been forced to make a study of the housing of the spare wheel in the rear boot.

On PL.140 herewith, we show the design for housing the spare wheel in the lid{A. J. Lidsey} of the luggage boot in a manner adopted by the Rover Company. The scheme when seen on a Rover car was then thought fairly acceptable, but we have since seen the following disadvantages :-

Cont'd.{John DeLooze - Company Secretary}
