Further to E/HDY.{William Hardy}1/HP.24.3.37, we have now examined the detail drawings and have not been able to find any reason for the complaint in Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/GWH.{George W. Hancock - Head Chateauroux}1/MW.4/16.3.37 that the shoulder on the bearing piece prevents the gear lever moving sideways freely. According to the details there should be sufficient clearance. We shall be glad to have more information when the parts can be compared with the drawings. E/HDY.{William Hardy} Hdy{William Hardy} | ||
