Messrs. Cornercroft Ltd.,
Ace Works,
Queen Victoria Road,
COVENTRY.

For the attention of Mr. Rycroft.

Dear Sirs,

With regard to our telephone conversation to-day, we have returned to you a sample disc you made for a steel wheel, and have also arranged to send you a tyre cover and inner tube.

Before you spend a lot of money making further samples of the type of disc you advocate we think we ought to tell you that in view of the increased overall width of thecar it is unlikely that we could use them.

We send you herewith a drawing PD.369, the right hand half of which shows the scheme in which we are at present interested. We should be glad if you could let us have a quotation for one sample set of such an arrangement, and also a quotation for a further order of 20 sets. The centre portion is not the same as we now use, and we should therefore want you to make all three pieces of the disc.

Yours faithfully,

for ROLLS-ROYCE LTD.
