DELCO-REMY & HYATT LTD. 111 GROSVENOR ROAD, LONDON, S.W.1 TELEPHONE: VICTORIA 6242 (7 LINES) TELEGRAMS: DELREMYAT, SOWEST, LONDON Messrs. Rolls-Royce, Ltd., Derby. YOUR REF. Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/EC/4.RT OUR REF. BR/HM{Capt. W. Hallam - Head Repairs} For the attention of Mr. W.A.Robotham. DATE 17th. Dec.1940. Dear Sirs, Referring to your letter of 12th. inst. we note you wish certain alteration to be made to the Distributor Base, and will arrange to work to your new drawing. It would, however, be more in line with standard practice if, whilst laying out the design, you could work to SAE and SMMT. standards for this groove, making it .5625" from the under-side of the levers. Your comments on this point would be appreciated. We also noticed the article in the S.A.E.Journal on the Chevrolet Ignition, and have accordingly written for more details and will communicate with you further on this subject when the information arrives. Yours faithfully, B. Rushton M.I.A.E. Technical & Works Director. | ||
