TO HS.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} FROM R.{Sir Henry Royce} c. to CJ. DA.{Bernard Day - Chassis Design} c. to BY.{R.W. Bailey - Chief Engineer} E.{Mr Elliott - Chief Engineer} 40/50 WATER PUMP ROTOR. X3472 Referring to your HS{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}2/LG7223., we are design-ing all water pumps open pattern. I agree, if you wish to make a better one for the 40/50, and test it. This might have a stainless steel spindle and an open type rotor pressed upon it formed of a die casting in aluminium bronze, or a die pressing in delta, brass, or bronze, as we are making for our new work.
